Belchim Crop Protection

To help develop effective solutions against Black Rot, Belchim has been

testing a number of its products, some of them in combination. Several trials

have been undertaken using some of the current Belchim products:

• Twingo

(cymoxanil + folpet)

• Videryo

F (cyazofamid + folpet)

• Airone/Griffon (copper)

• Valis F

(valifenalate + folpet)

• Valis plus

(valifenalate + copper)

Results are really promising on the leaves, where chemical solutions

performed well. A copper solution with organic multisite activity provided

some control of the disease. It can be combined with a Powdery Mildew

product that is effective on Black Rot to deliver a good level of control.
