The Innovation Pipeline

The long development and regulatory timelines for the crop protection

sector mean it is crucial that a robust pipeline of projects is maintained.

This requires constant screening of opportunities, knowing that an idea that

delivers good results in screening today, might not be available in the market

for another 10 years.

Belchim is proud of its current pipeline of projects – not just because of its

size, including 12 new active substances, but also because it is a pipeline that

is aligned with the evolving needs of the farmer. Of the five products likely

to enter the market in the next five years, two of them are biological, with

the other two having strong eco-toxicological and residue profiles. Of the

eight products being developed for market launch in six to ten years, six of

them are biological.
