Belchim and Certis Europe, both members of the Mitsui Agrisciences

International family, have a unique positioning in the market, with a strong

focus on technical advice and innovation. The combined pipeline of the

two companies offers a broad range of solutions based on traditional crop

protection products and biorational products. The final outcome of these

combined forces will be an extended and improved offer to our customers

and farmers, adapted to the changing demands for sustainability influenced

by the EU Farm to Fork strategy and the Green Deal. We will help the farmer

by offering practical solutions to increase their crop yields and better

conserve their harvest, and ensure food production while also seizing other

future farming opportunities, such as carbon sequestration in the soil and

sustainable energy production.

As a result of the early collaboration between the two companies, in

this annual report we include a joint section that covers a range of crop

focused articles, each covering technical aspects of the challenges being

faced by farmers and the solutions being explored. The expert teams of

both companies have combined their technical expertise and know-how to

provide a rich perspective and valuable input on each topic.
